Department of Mathematics:
Aim of the department: To train teachers who are knowledgeable and advanced in the field of mathematics, in order to educate new generations of society on this basis.

Department of Physics:
Aim of the department: To prepare teachers who are knowledgeable in the field of physics.

Department of Chemistry:
Aim of the department: The aim of this department is to prepare teachers with knowledge in the field of Chemistry.

Department of Biochemistry:
Aim of the department : To develop biochemistry, microbiology and academic research laboratories in the region.

Department of Biology:
Aim of the department: To prepare qualified teachers in the field of biology.

Department of Mechatronics:
Aim of the department: To serve scientific education and research, and to help develop talents and create a healthy scientific environment that encourages creativity and demonstrates the beauty and magnificence of engineering and its applications in various sciences and social service.
Educational system: This system is based on stages of study. There are 8 stages and are divided into 4 years.
Areas in which graduates of the department can work : Mechatronics engineering graduates can work in a variety of fields, including: Robotics, the design, development, and maintenance of robotic systems for industrial, medical, and utility purposes. Industrial automation, which improves manufacturing processes and designs automated systems to control production lines. The automotive industry develops intelligent and automated systems within vehicles, such as electronic locking systems and engine control. Renewable energy: the design and improvement of systems used to generate solar energy.
Department of Communication:
Aim of the department : To teach students to use technology in the field of communication and to transfer information between people in an advanced and easy way. The development and development of technology also involves the transfer of data between people and institutions.

Computer Science Department:
Aim of the department: To raise the level of science and research in the field of informatics and technology in the region.

Year of establishment:
This department was established within the Faculty of Social Sciences of Rojava University in the 2023-2024 academic year.
Note: The Department of History was established at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of Rojava University in the 2016-2017 academic year. It became part of the Faculty of Social Sciences in the 2023-2024 academic year.
The Department of Jineolojî was initially established as a faculty at Rojava University on October 15, 2017. It became part of the Faculty of Social Sciences in the 2023-2024 academic year.
Years of Study:
The duration of study in these departments is four years.
Department Features:
This department within the Faculty of Social Sciences offers a variety of interdisciplinary programs focusing on critical theory, anti-colonialism, and social justice principles. Teachers and students in these departments will ground their studies and efforts on awareness and social transformation through academic inquiry, research, and social participation.

Free and democratic universities are developed on the basis of women's and society's freedom, therefore the Department of Jineology aims to bring about conscious changes against sexism and scientism in its scientific studies. On this basis, the Department of Jineology will build its expertise in all aspects of life for the future, as well as develop women's science and enlightenment.
Areas in which graduates of the department can work: This department will play an important role in advancing the mission of the university. In particular, to train successful students in educational and scientific work and activities related to social awareness.
The Autonomous Administration has opened up job and work opportunities for students. Graduates of the department can continue their studies and research in higher education departments. In addition, they can teach Jineology and social science materials in schools. They can also work in women's institutions, social institutions, research centers, media institutions, as well as in Jineology research centers.
Department of Geography:
Educational system: The study period in this department is divided into 8 stages spread over four years.
Features of Department:
Current students receive education in both Kurdish and Arabic languages, according to their degree.
Aim of the department: Developing the Department of Geography so that in the coming years, fourth-year students will be divided into two departments, which are: Natural and Human Geography and Applied Geography. Raising the level of teachers by requesting the opening of higher education in the Department of Geography. In addition, preparing Geography students to play their role in society.

This faculty consists of four departments (Kurdish literature, translation, Arabic literature, fine arts).

Kurdish literature department:
Aim of the department: Language and literature are the means of conveying one's identity, feelings and thoughts. Especially a people like the Kurdish people, who have been oppressed for centuries and deprived of their truth, have a vital need for education in their own language and literature. The Department of Kurdish Language and Literature was established with this long-term goal. It is aimed to train individuals who are knowledgeable in the field of Kurdish Language and Literature.
Education System: Education is based on a system of semesters. It consists of 8 semesters and is spread over 4 years.
Areas in which graduates of the department can work : Graduates of the department can work, depending on their expertise, in all fields of literature and teaching in schools and institutions. They can also work in the field of communication.
Arabic Literature Department:
The aim of the department: Teaching students the methods and foundations of scientific research. Teaching students the methods of teaching the Arabic language in schools.
Education System: Education is based on a semesters system. It consists of 8 semesters and is spread over 4 years.

Translation department:
The department is built on two branches (English-Kurdish/English-Arabic).

Department of Petrochemical Engineering:
